This showy native of the grasslands of the southern United States has an abundance of large, poppy-like delicate pink flowers fading to white toward the center and yellow in the throat. Forming an upright bush of fine light green foliage, this low maintenance species likes full sun, is adaptable to moisture availability, spreads easily and will grow as a perennial in warm climates.
