This delightfully colorful species derived from the European, wild, Flander’s Poppy is easy to grow and will thrive in most areas of the country. Shirley poppies will brighten any wildflower meadow and can make excellent cut flowers if the cut stem is first singed. The mixed colors of red, pink, white and salmon flowers have single and double petal forms with compact basil foliage.
